What are cluster headaches?
Cluster headache is one of the most severe known pain disorders
Often called the "suicide headache", it manifests in extreme, one-sided attacks around the eye or temple that occur in periods (clusters). The intensity is almost impossible for outsiders to imagine and severely affects every area of life. Sufferers struggle not only with the pain itself, but also with its unpredictability and the psychological strain. Relatives usually have to watch helplessly as their loved ones suffer, at a loss as to how best to help.

Counselling
Individual support for you
Cluster headache confronts you and those around you with immense challenges. The unimaginable pain attacks and the constant uncertainty can dominate your life and derail both professional and personal plans. I understand that – from my own experience and from many conversations with fellow sufferers through the association.
In my counselling I offer you a protected space and concrete support:
- Together we develop strategies for coping with the pain and with the fear of the next attack.
- I show you ways to manage everyday life and work despite the illness, without losing sight of your goals.
- Together we strengthen your personal resources and build your resilience.
I also support relatives in understanding the situation better, offering effective help while not neglecting their own self-care. Here you will find professional guidance and practical solutions for a life with more control and confidence. All counselling takes place online and is built around maximum flexibility.
What I offer is psychosocial support. It works alongside your neurologist – it does not replace medical treatment or psychotherapy.
You pay only for the minutes we actually use. If a session ends after 43 minutes, that is all you are charged for.

Cluster Headache Counselling
This counselling is not a crisis service. If you are in acute distress or in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country right away.
Or write to me directly: [email protected].
There are no “right” or “wrong” concerns. A brief appointment request or general question is enough. I will answer you as soon as possible, and we can then discuss in peace how to proceed.
Psychosocial counselling only — not medical advice, not psychotherapy. In a crisis, contact your local emergency services.
