About Me
Patient since age 18. Counsellor by choice.
MSc psychosocial counselling — online, one-to-one.

I have been a cluster headache patient since I was 18
"First attack during military service. I had no idea what it was."
For five years I had no diagnosis: doctors, dentists, wrong treatments. At 23 a neurologist finally named it — cluster headache. Until then I thought I was going mad.
Episodes came every six months, then every three, then every two. Eventually every night. Sleep deprivation, isolation, and the complete unpredictability that anyone with cluster headache knows too well.
In 2022 I hit a point where I understood the term “suicide headache” from the inside. That experience pushed me to train as a counsellor — not despite the illness, but because of it.
Why I trained
I finished an MSc in psychosocial counselling at Sigmund Freud University Vienna. The degree added structure and method to what I already knew from living with this condition. Now I work online, one-to-one, with patients and their families.
How I got here
Patient first. Counsellor second. The order matters.

The onset during my military service. Sudden, devastating pain.
The Search

The Diagnosis
Finally a name: Cluster headache. The invisible became visible.
The Turning Point
Extreme episode and trauma insight. The decision to turn pain into strength.

What this means for you
I know cluster headache from two sides: as a patient and as a trained counsellor. What I offer is psychosocial support — online, one-to-one. It is not medical advice and it is not psychotherapy. It is the part that sits alongside your neurologist, not instead of them.
Practical coping
Strategies for the fear of the next attack, for sleep, and for the days when you are running on empty.
Real context
You do not have to explain what an attack feels like. We can use that time for what actually helps.
Fair billing
You pay only the minutes we actually used. No padding, no rounding up.
Psychosocial counselling only — not medical advice, not psychotherapy. In a crisis, contact your local emergency services.
